About Me

When I was a teenager growing up in Caracas, Venezuela, I used to watch my father make artisan yogurt with fruit jams at the bottom — long before that idea ever became popular. His small side business supplied local maternities, restaurants, hospitals, and little cafés with delicious homemade yogurt. I loved watching him stir the jams, measure the fruits, and create everything by hand. Eventually, I started helping him, learning the art of patience, precision, and passion for real flavor. But life had other plans. After a difficult partnership, his business came to an end, and years later, my father passed away from COVID. He was the most positive, optimistic person I have ever known — always smiling, always believing that good things are made with love and persistence. Two years ago, I decided to honor his memory the best way I could — by recreating his jams, using his same spirit and recipe. From my kitchen in Miami, Florida, together with my husband, my son, and now my cousin and his wife, we began crafting jams and artisan breads with real fruits, natural ingredients, and a whole lot of heart. What began as a family tradition has grown into Sunny’s Kitchen Delights — a celebration of flavor, creativity, and joy, bringing the warmth of our Venezuelan roots and the sunshine of Florida to every table.
